Custom sheet metal laser cutting, made in Morocco and delivered to Africa and Europe

Fibre laser cutting is the fastest route to accurate flat parts from a DXF file: plates, flanges, spacers, templates, cladding. Network shops cut structural steel, stainless and aluminium on standard sheet sizes, from thin gauge to heavy plate depending on the material.

Nesting is optimised by the shop to limit scrap; price therefore depends on cutting length, thickness and quantity. Parts can be deburred, tapped, bent or painted downstream, and are inspected before shipment.

Sheet metal laser cutting

Materials

Common sheets stocked by the shops; special sheets (Hardox, Corten, copper) procured per quote.

  • Aluminium 6061-T6
  • Steel S235
  • Stainless 304L
  • Stainless 316L
  • Steel sheet DC01 (drawing quality)
  • Aluminium 5754 (sheet)

DFM rules

  • Minimum slot and bridge width ≈ sheet thickness.
  • Hole diameter ≥ thickness (steel); allow for kerf taper.
  • Supply a 1:1 DXF or a STEP; one closed contour per part.

Quality and documents

Main dimensions and cut appearance checked as standard; 3.1 material certificate and dimensional report as options.

Related finishes

  • Bead blasting
  • Anodizing (aluminium)
  • Powder coating
  • Zinc plating

Capacities, series and lead times shown are orders of magnitude matching the network target; they are confirmed on each quote according to the selected shop. No prices are displayed on these pages.

Frequently asked questions

Which file format for laser cutting?
A 1:1 DXF with one closed contour per part, or a STEP from which the flat face is extracted. Dimensioned PDFs serve as reference but are not cut directly.
What cutting accuracy?
Around ±0.1 to ±0.2 mm on thin and medium sheets; edges show a slight taper that increases with thickness.
Are parts deburred?
Mechanical deburring is offered as an option; underside dross is limited with nitrogen cutting and more present with oxygen cutting on thick steel.
Can parts be marked or engraved?
Yes, laser marking of references, drawing numbers or logos is done during cutting at little extra cost.
