Manual quote

Custom deep drawing / stamping, made in Morocco and delivered to Africa and Europe

Deep drawing and stamping turn a flat sheet into a hollow or curved part in one or more strokes: cups, covers, housings, reflectors, ends, trim parts. Network shops operate mechanical and hydraulic presses and work with toolmakers for simple, progressive or transfer dies.

The quote is manual and separates tooling from part price by quantity break. The DSSF engineer assesses feasibility (draw ratio, springback, thinning) and proposes, for prototypes, soft tooling or a bent sheet-metal alternative.

Standard capacity
1200 × 800 × 300 mm
network target, confirmed by the selected shop
Series
Medium to high volume; prototypes with soft tooling
Typical manufacturing lead time
6 to 14 weeks including tooling, then a few days per batch
excluding transport, confirmed in the quote
Quote mode
Structured manual quote
Analysis by a DSSF engineer, tooling and part price itemised; no automatic price.

Deep drawing / stamping

Materials

Drawing-quality steel DC01 to DC04, 304/316 stainless, 5754 and 1050 aluminium, brass; thin to medium gauges.

  • Steel S235
  • Stainless 304L
  • Stainless 316L
  • Steel sheet DC01 (drawing quality)
  • Aluminium 5754 (sheet)

DFM rules

  • Draw radius ≥ 4 × thickness; draw ratio limited by the grade.
  • Expect springback: angles and radii compensated in the die.
  • Mark the cosmetic face and tight-tolerance zones on the drawing.
  • Local thinning up to 20 to 25 % in deep walls.

Quality and documents

Initial samples with dimensional report; residual thickness, appearance and form gauges in series.

Related finishes

  • Anodizing (aluminium)
  • Powder coating
  • Zinc plating
  • Shot blasting

Capacities, series and lead times shown are orders of magnitude matching the network target; they are confirmed on each quote according to the selected shop. No prices are displayed on these pages.

Frequently asked questions

Can a prototype be drawn without production tooling?
Yes, with soft tooling (untreated steel, resin) suited to a few dozen parts, or by spinning for rotational shapes.
How deep can a part be drawn?
It depends on the diameter/thickness ratio and the grade; beyond one stroke, redraws and intermediate anneals are planned.
How is springback handled?
By compensation in the die and tuning on the first samples; critical dimensions must be stated on the drawing.
Which finishes after stamping?
Deburring, zinc plating, powder coating, anodising on aluminium, polishing for cosmetic stainless parts.
