Custom finishing and treatments, made in Morocco and delivered to Africa and Europe

The finishing family covers operations that protect, harden or dress a part: aluminium anodising, powder coating, electrolytic zinc plating, hot-dip galvanising, shot blasting, polishing and heat treatments (normalising, quench and temper, case hardening, nitriding). They are performed by specialised network shops, on parts made by DSSF CONNECT or supplied by the customer.

The quote is manual and depends on area, weight, standard and required thickness. The DSSF Quality Hub checks coating thickness, colour, adhesion or hardness according to the specification.

DFM rules

  • State standard, coating thickness and colour (RAL); masking zones on the drawing.
  • Provide hanging or drain holes (galvanising, painting).
  • Heat treatment: specify target hardness and depth; allow for distortion.
  • Include coating thickness in functional dimensions (threads, fits).

Quality and documents

Coating thickness (eddy current, magnetic), RAL colour check, cross-hatch adhesion test, HRC/HV hardness; treatment certificate on request.

Frequently asked questions

Can you treat parts we supply?
Yes: parts are received, treated and inspected by the network; state the material, incoming surface condition and target standard.
What anodising thickness?
Decorative anodising 5 to 15 µm, hard anodising 25 to 60 µm; functional dimensions must allow for layer growth.
Zinc plating or hot-dip galvanising?
Zinc plating (5 to 12 µm) for machined parts and indoor hardware; hot-dip galvanising (≥ 45 µm) for structures and outdoor use.
Does heat treatment distort parts?
Yes, to an extent depending on geometry and grade; precise dimensions are finished after treatment (grinding) or the process plan includes an allowance.
