This page presents the casting offer as a whole: the DSSF CONNECT network brings together iron, steel, aluminium and copper-alloy foundries working in sand, gravity die, pressure die or investment casting. The route depends on material, quantity, accuracy and surface finish required.

The DSSF engineer directs the request to the appropriate detailed page and arranges, where needed, finish machining and heat treatment within the network. The quote is manual and separates pattern or tooling from part price.

Frequently asked questions

Which casting route should I choose?
Sand for one-offs and large parts, gravity die for medium-series aluminium, pressure die for high-volume thin walls, investment casting for precision in steel and stainless.
Are parts delivered machined?
On request: finish machining of functional faces is done by network CNC shops and included in the quote.
Do I need to supply a pattern?
No: the pattern or tooling is made from the STEP; an existing pattern can be reused after assessment.
What material traceability?
Heat certificate with chemical analysis on request; attached test bars for parts with mechanical requirements.
