Custom injection molding, made in Morocco and delivered to Africa and Europe

Injection moulding is the volume process: from a few hundred parts with a prototype mould, up to several hundred thousand with a steel mould. DSSF CONNECT network moulders operate small and medium tonnage presses and work with toolmakers in Morocco.

The quote is manual and structured: tooling cost, part price per quantity break, first-shot (T1) lead time and initial sample approval. The DSSF engineer runs the mould DFM review (wall thickness, draft, parting line, ejection) before launch.

Standard capacity
600 × 600 × 300 mm
network target, confirmed by the selected shop
Series
A few hundred (prototype mould) to several hundred thousand parts
Typical manufacturing lead time
4 to 10 weeks including tooling, then a few days per batch
excluding transport, confirmed in the quote
Quote mode
Structured manual quote
Analysis by a DSSF engineer, tooling and part price itemised; no automatic price.

Materials

Common thermoplastics listed; filled, flame-retardant or food-grade compounds procured with datasheet.

  • POM (Delrin)
  • Polyamide PA6
  • ABS

DFM rules

  • Uniform wall thickness (0.8 to 3 mm); ribs ≤ 60 % of wall.
  • Draft ≥ 0.5° to 1° per face; avoid undercuts (side actions).
  • Define parting line, gate and ejector positions at quote stage.

Quality and documents

Initial samples with dimensional report; series control plan, PPAP and material certificates available as options.

Capacities, series and lead times shown are orders of magnitude matching the network target; they are confirmed on each quote according to the selected shop. No prices are displayed on these pages.

Frequently asked questions

Who owns the mould?
The customer, once tooling is paid; the mould stays at the moulder for production and can be returned on request.
How long until first samples?
Typically several weeks after DFM approval, depending on mould complexity; the range is stated in the quote.
Can we start with a short run?
Yes, with an aluminium or pre-hardened steel prototype mould suited to a few hundred or thousand parts.
What information is needed?
Part STEP, desired material, annual quantity, appearance and colour requirements, and service environment (temperature, UV, food contact).
