Custom sheet metal: cutting + bending, made in Morocco and delivered to Africa and Europe

Sheet metal work combines laser cutting or punching, CNC press-brake bending, welding and hardware insertion to produce enclosures, frames, electrical cabinets, guards and brackets. DSSF CONNECT network shops cover steel, stainless and aluminium and handle finishing (powder coating, zinc plating, galvanising).

The DFM check covers bend radii, minimum flange lengths and hole positions relative to bends. Welded assemblies are checked for geometry and appearance by the DSSF Quality Hub, with a photo report for cosmetic parts.

Sheet metal: cutting + bending

Materials

Steel, stainless and aluminium sheets in common gauges; pre-painted or galvanised sheets on request.

  • Aluminium 6061-T6
  • Steel S235
  • Stainless 304L
  • Stainless 316L
  • Steel sheet DC01 (drawing quality)
  • Aluminium 5754 (sheet)

DFM rules

  • Inside bend radius ≥ thickness; minimum flange length ≈ 4 × thickness.
  • Keep holes away from bends (≥ 2.5 × thickness + radius) to avoid distortion.
  • Add bend reliefs at inside corners.

Quality and documents

Bend angles, flatness and overall dimensions checked as standard; visual weld inspection, dye penetrant as an option.

Related finishes

  • Bead blasting
  • Anodizing (aluminium)
  • Powder coating
  • Zinc plating
  • Hot-dip galvanising
  • Industrial wet paint

Capacities, series and lead times shown are orders of magnitude matching the network target; they are confirmed on each quote according to the selected shop. No prices are displayed on these pages.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to supply the flat pattern?
No: a STEP of the bent part is enough, the shop computes the flat pattern with its own K-factors. A flat-pattern DXF is accepted if you impose it.
What tolerance on bend angles?
±0.5° to ±1° depending on thickness and material, cumulative over successive bends; functional dimensions must be stated on the drawing.
Are inserts and clinch nuts fitted?
Yes, clinch nuts, studs and standoffs are fitted in the shop; state the reference or standard in the bill of materials.
Can parts be delivered painted and assembled?
Yes: RAL powder coating, screen printing and hardware fitting are included in the quote when requested.
