Manual quote

Custom welding and welded fabrication, made in Morocco and delivered to Africa and Europe

Welded fabrication assembles cut sheets, sections and machined parts into rigid structures: machine frames, bases, skids, conveyor supports, enclosures, guardrails, industrial piping. Network shops combine laser cutting, bending, MIG/MAG and TIG welding, and post-weld machining of reference faces.

The quote is manual: it separates material, cutting, welding, post-weld machining and surface treatment. The DSSF engineer checks the specified welds, welding sequence and expected distortion, and states the inspections (visual, dye penetrant, dimensional).

Welding and welded fabrication

Materials

S235 / S355 steels and DC01 sheet, 304L / 316L stainless, 5754 / 6061 aluminium; special grades on consultation.

  • Aluminium 6061-T6
  • Aluminium 7075-T6
  • Steel S235
  • Steel C45
  • Stainless 304L
  • Stainless 316L
  • Steel 42CrMo4 (forging)
  • Steel sheet DC01 (drawing quality)

DFM rules

  • Specify welds (type, throat, length) per ISO 2553 and the zones machined after welding.
  • Allow for distortion: extra stock or post-weld machining on reference faces.
  • Torch access and welding sequence to be validated on closed boxes.
  • Welder qualification (ISO 9606) and procedure (ISO 15614) on request for structures subject to EN 1090.

Quality and documents

Visual weld inspection, dye penetrant or magnetic particle testing as options, dimensional report after machining; welder qualification (ISO 9606) on request.

Variants covered

  • MIG/MAG (steel, aluminium)
  • TIG (stainless, aluminium, cosmetic parts)
  • Shielded metal arc welding (site work)

Capacities, series and lead times shown are orders of magnitude matching the network target; they are confirmed on each quote according to the selected shop. No prices are displayed on these pages.

Frequently asked questions

How should welds be specified on the drawing?
With ISO 2553 symbols: weld type, throat or penetration, length and intermittence, and the expected ISO 5817 quality level.
Are reference faces machined after welding?
Yes when the drawing requires it: the process plan includes an allowance and machining or grinding after welding and possible stress relief.
What traceability for structures subject to EN 1090?
It is handled case by case with shops holding the required qualifications; the requirement must be stated at the request stage.
Which finishes?
Blasting and powder coating, hot-dip galvanising, passivation or polishing on stainless, depending on the service environment.
