Manual quote

Custom 5-axis cnc machining, made in Morocco and delivered to Africa and Europe

5-axis milling machines all five faces of a part in a single setup and reaches sculptured surfaces inaccessible in 3-axis: impellers, blades, instrumentation housings, lightweight structural parts, moulds and electrodes. Network shops equipped with 5-axis centres machine aluminium, stainless and alloy steels, with CAM programming and material-removal simulation.

The quote is manual: the DSSF engineer checks zone accessibility, clamping strategy, geometric tolerances and the associated inspection (CMM, FAI report), then consults the shops whose equipment and certification match the part.

Materials

6061 / 7075 aluminium, 304L / 316L stainless, C45 and 42CrMo4 steels, brass; titanium and superalloys on consultation.

  • Aluminium 6061-T6
  • Aluminium 7075-T6
  • Steel S235
  • Steel C45
  • Stainless 304L
  • Stainless 316L
  • Brass CuZn39Pb3
  • Steel 42CrMo4 (forging)

DFM rules

  • A single setup limits re-clamping: plan a clamping zone or a blank with a holding tab.
  • Pocket floor radii ≥ tool radius; undercuts reachable in 5-axis must be explicitly dimensioned.
  • Tight tolerances (< ±0.02 mm) and surface finishes specified per zone, not over the whole part.
  • A native 3D model (STEP) is required; the 2D drawing states functional dimensions and datums.

Quality and documents

CMM dimensional report per part or sample, first article inspection (FAI) and 3.1 material certificate per the Quality Hub control plan.

Variants covered

  • Positional 5-axis (3+2)
  • Continuous (simultaneous) 5-axis

Capacities, series and lead times shown are orders of magnitude matching the network target; they are confirmed on each quote according to the selected shop. No prices are displayed on these pages.

Frequently asked questions

When is 5-axis preferable to 3-axis?
As soon as a part needs several machining orientations, sculptured surfaces or positional tolerances between faces: a single setup removes re-clamping errors.
Which files should be provided?
The native 3D model (STEP preferred) and a 2D drawing with datums, geometric tolerances and surface finishes per zone.
What accuracy is achievable?
It depends on the machine, the part and the strategy; it is confirmed in the quote, part by part, never stated generically.
Are the shops certified?
Verified certifications (ISO 9001, EN 9100 where it exists) are shown on each network shop's profile; no certification is claimed without evidence.
