Manual quote

Custom metrology and inspection, made in Morocco and delivered to Africa and Europe

Metrology is DSSF CONNECT's cross-cutting service: every order goes through the Quality Hub, but inspection can also be ordered on its own — CMM dimensional report of a part made elsewhere, first article report for a qualification, sorting of a doubtful batch, roughness or hardness measurement, incoming inspection at an industrial site.

The control plan is drawn up from the dimensioned drawing and the customer's requirements; the control level depends on criticality, regulatory requirements and history, never on a fixed rate. Results are reported part by part and archived with the digital passport.

DFM rules

  • Provide the dimensioned drawing with datums and geometric tolerances (ISO 1101); the control plan is drawn up by the Quality Hub.
  • Results are reported part by part (serial number or position in the batch).
  • The control level depends on criticality and history, never on the workshop level alone.

Quality and documents

CMM report with deviations per characteristic, FAI report (AS9102 format on request), Ra / Rz roughness and HRC / HV hardness readings, release decision signed by the Quality Hub.

Variants covered

  • CMM dimensional report (3D)
  • First article inspection (FAI, AS9102)
  • Incoming inspection / batch sorting

Capacities, series and lead times shown are orders of magnitude matching the network target; they are confirmed on each quote according to the selected shop. No prices are displayed on these pages.

Frequently asked questions

Can a part not made by the network be inspected?
Yes: the part and its drawing are sent to the Quality Hub, which draws up the control plan and issues an independent report.
How long for a dimensional report?
One to five working days depending on the number of characteristics and parts; the lead time is confirmed in the quote.
Are the measuring instruments calibrated?
The instruments used are tracked with calibration certificates; the instrument reference is stated on the report when the customer requests it.
What does a first article report contain?
The reading of every numbered drawing characteristic (ballooning), the measured deviation, the instrument used and the decision; the AS9102 format is supplied when the customer requires it.
